The kinetic light and sound installation SVNSCRNS by Klankvorm consists of seven rotating video screens and speakers that form an abstract landscape. Slow movements allow the installation to take on different spatial formations and contribute to the audiovisual experience.
‘An audio-visual, slow moving abstract landscape.’
The work is produced by Klankvorm. An important part of the project is the realization of installations with ‘open content’. Prior to creating audiovisual art, the collective designed and developed canvas as a infrastructure for the audiovisual compositions. For this exhibition, Klankvorm collaborated with the artists’ collective Macular. The collective made a generative composition based on repetitive line structures and sound visualization.
Klankvorm is a platform for the realization and presentation of experimental audio visual art. An important part of the project is the realization of installations with ‘open content’. Klankvorm invites artists and musicians to make new compositions for these installations.
Macular is an initiative of a group of artists who share a collective interest in art, science, technology, and perception. The members of the collective collaborate on the creation and production of multi-sensorial artworks that are presented at media arts festivals, galleries, and other arts institutions around the world.
