Come and join Luuk Meints in designing a digital flower in Blender an open-source software for 3D design! Start with a basic design and create a digital flower inspired by a lotus, rose or tulip, or challenge yourself with asymmetrical design such as an orchid. In this easy-to-join workshop, you will work in Blender to design a flower for the digital flower field Koki’o. This flower field of hundred digital, luminous flowers will be on display in the garden behind the old Delft station building during Highlight Delft from November 18 to 20, 2021.
Are you happy with your design? Then also join us on September 18 for the Programming workshop! Luuk will then ensure that your design is ready as a real flower* to animate the colours.Are you not quite ready or satisfied at the end of the workshop? Feel free to stay around for another hour or finish your design at home.
Would you like to bring your digital flower home with you? Ask Luuk about the possibilities. The most beautiful designs will be exhibited in Luuk’s digital flower field Koki’o. This flower field of hundred digital, luminous flowers will be on display in the garden behind the old Delft station building during Highlight Delft, 18-20 November 2021.
