During Highlight Festival 2026, you’ll meet visionary artists and makers who push the boundaries of art and technology. This year’s festival theme is Robo-futures, exploring the relationship between humans and machines. 

Get to know some of the makers!

Meet Animaspace (Angelina Kozhevnikova), an interdisciplinary artist and researcher. Through interactive installations, she explores questions of autonomy, control and connection.

During Highlight Festival, you can experience I/Another by Animaspace, an interactive work in which you enter into a dialogue with a robot through movement.

Jorrit Paaijmans works at the intersection of craftsmanship and technology. In his practice, he explores drawing as a physical and time-consuming process through robotic installations and live experiments.

During Highlight Festival, Joris presents his work homo signans.

Nedji and Leonardo are part of the non-profit organisation Makerspace Delft. Their SandPods  transform the streets of Delft into a living canvas during Highlight Festival. These self-balancing robots roam the city, printing mesmerizing patterns with colourful sand.
