BEHIND THE MAKER: MYCOGRAVITY
What happens to life when gravity no longer behaves as expected?
In MycoGravity, pink oyster mushrooms grow inside a transparent bioreactor mounted on a moving robotic arm. By constantly shifting direction, the installation disrupts gravity, one of life’s most fundamental forces. As the mushrooms grow, they adapt, twist and reshape themselves in unexpected ways, transforming the rotating bioreactor into a living, evolving sculpture.
